Terms of Service.

1. About these terms

Resist is operated by GLORIFIED LTD, registered in England and Wales with company number 16773902. Our registered office is 54 Smedley Lane, Manchester, United Kingdom, M8 8XD. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean GLORIFIED LTD.

These terms apply to the Resist website and services. App-specific terms apply when you use the relevant app features. By using our services, you agree to the terms that apply to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.

The website currently provides a prelaunch waitlist and support. Joining the waitlist is free. It does not guarantee a launch date, early access, an invitation or a particular feature. App availability and features can vary by version and region.

For an app downloaded from Apple’s App Store, the Apple Standard End User License Agreement also governs the app licence. These service terms supplement that licence; they do not replace it.

2. Accounts and age

You must be at least 16 to create a Resist account, and meet any higher requirement that applies to you under local law. If you are under the age of legal adulthood where you live, a parent or guardian should review these terms with you and provide any permission required by law. Purchases must be authorised by the payment-account holder.

You can register using Apple, Google or email. Provide accurate information, keep your sign-in details secure and tell us if you suspect someone else is using your account without permission. Do not impersonate another person or access an account that is not yours.

3. Using Resist

Resist is designed to support habits, focus and personal routines. You remain responsible for the choices you make and how you use the app. Progress and results vary; we do not promise a particular outcome.

Use Resist lawfully. Do not interfere with its operation, probe private data, bypass access controls, spread malware, abuse our support channels or infringe other people’s rights. Device permissions are controlled by your device; some features depend on the permissions you enable.

4. Subscriptions, cancellation and refunds

Some app features require a subscription. The purchase screen identifies the plan, price, billing period, included features and any trial or renewal conditions. Review those details before confirming a purchase. We do not take subscription payments through the current waitlist website.

Where a plan is described as automatically renewing, it renews on the terms shown at purchase unless you cancel through the provider that bills you. If a trial or introductory offer is available, its eligibility, duration and subsequent price are shown before you accept it. No trial is promised unless it is offered to you.

For an Apple-billed subscription, you can manage or cancel it in your device’s Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Follow Apple’s cancellation instructions, including the cancellation deadline for any trial. Cancelling stops future renewal in accordance with the purchase terms; access lasts for the period confirmed by the billing provider.

Deleting the app or your Resist account does not cancel an Apple-billed subscription. Cancel it separately if you do not want further renewal.

Refund requests for Apple-billed purchases can be submitted through Apple’s refund process. Eligibility depends on applicable law and the purchase terms. Your statutory rights remain in place. Contact us if you need help identifying a charge or resolving a problem with paid access.

5. Community rules and your content

You are responsible for what you post and must have permission to share it. Do not post illegal material, threats, harassment, hate, sexual exploitation, harmful instructions, scams, spam, impersonation or someone else’s private information without permission. Do not encourage self-harm or use the community to exploit or endanger another person.

We use content filtering and moderation. We may investigate reports, remove content or restrict an account when reasonably necessary to protect users, enforce these rules or comply with law. Moderation cannot guarantee that every harmful message is prevented.

You can report a concern through our contact form by choosing “Community or safety concern”, or email help@getresist.app. Include enough information to identify the content or account, and avoid sending unnecessary personal information. You can also use the relevant reporting or blocking controls in the app. Contact us if you want a moderation decision reviewed.

You retain ownership of your content. You give us the limited permission needed to host, process, display, deliver and moderate it as part of the features you use. This does not transfer ownership to us. Content you share can be seen and copied by its audience; avoid sharing details you want to keep private.

6. AI mentoring

The AI mentor uses OpenAI to generate responses to your messages. Our privacy policy describes that processing. Keep sensitive personal information out of chats.

The mentor is an automated tool. It can misunderstand a message or produce inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable information. Use your own judgement and verify anything important. It provides general habit and productivity support, and is not a substitute for professional medical or mental-health care, legal advice or emergency help. Do not use it to diagnose a condition or make urgent safety decisions.

Use AI features lawfully and respectfully. Do not use them to seek harmful or illegal content, exploit people, or circumvent safety controls.

7. Leaving Resist or account restrictions

You can stop using Resist at any time. Use Delete account in the app or contact us to request deletion. We may need to verify your request. The privacy policy explains deletion and any lawful retention. Account recovery is not offered after deletion.

We may restrict or suspend access for a serious or repeated breach, security risks, harm to others or a legal requirement. Where appropriate, we will explain the reason and give you a way to contact us; urgent safety or legal situations may require immediate action. Restrictions do not remove any refund or consumer rights you have under law.

8. Our service and your rights

We aim to provide Resist with reasonable care and skill. Maintenance, faults or events outside our reasonable control can sometimes interrupt the service. We will take reasonable steps to address problems. Contact us if the service does not work as described.

Nothing in these terms removes your mandatory consumer rights or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. This includes liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, or death or personal injury caused by negligence. Any responsibility for other loss is determined under applicable law.

Resist’s branding, software and original materials belong to us or our licensors. You may use them as needed to use the service and as otherwise permitted by law. You must not misrepresent them as your own.

9. Changes and disputes

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, security needs or legal requirements. We will identify the updated version and give appropriate notice of material changes before they apply, except where an urgent legal or safety change is necessary. Changes to paid plans remain subject to your purchase terms and consumer rights.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory protections of the country where you live. They do not remove any right you have to bring a consumer dispute in your local courts. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve a concern.
